The Rap Game ‘The New Drug Game’. Today in the hood (the inner city or the ghetto the average youth dreams to be successful, is to make it in the Rap Game whether its being a rapper like Kanye West, a producer like Dr Dre, a disk jockey like Funk Master Flex or starting their own record labels like Sean Combs aka P.Diddy. They are inspired by the 50 Cents and the Jay Z’s of how they went from hustling in the street to being successful entrepreneurs in the board room all using the Rap Game as their ticket out of poverty. In the 80’s most youth chose joining the crack game, selling drugs, searching for fame and wealth coming to realize it was nothing but a dead end. Most who where successful drug lords either end up dead or incarcerated. Today they choose The Rap Game over the crack game in doing that they have chosen to live rather than to die. The Rap Game The New Drug Game goes deeper than music and entrepreneurship it is sometimes referred to as the new religion.
